Making of... Golden Forest - This is a Terragen 2 tutorial that goes step by step from concept to final postwork of my Terragen 2 render Golden Forest. It shows how to minimize complications and keep things as simple as possible, while delivering a dynamic and powerful image.
Combining Terragen 2 with GIS Data - One of the greatest benefits of Terragen 2 is that you can quickly and easily import and use real world data and information in any of your renders. There is a great deal of data available for free download on the internet, but it can be fairly confusing to both find what you need and then figure out what it is you have. I will try and make sense of a few basic ideas and you can take it from there. Some knowledge about geographic information systems would be of benefit, but should not be totally necessary.
Splitting Objects with PoseRay - Currently Terragen 2 has a hard coded limit on the number of textures that can be associated with an imported object. It is possible to get around these limits by splitting up your objects into as many parts as needed to load all materials successfully.
